Post-Graduate Studies
Each year the San Francisco Branch with the support of the Anglo-California Foundation awards several $20,000 scholarships to Bay Area college graduates for post-graduate study at British Universities.
In recent years we have had students at Oxford, Cambridge, University of York and at the London School of Economics. We require each of our scholars to report to us on their progress. The

British University Summer Scholarship
This scholarship enables a local high school teacher to spend three weeks at a university in the U.K. during the summer. The opportunity to become a student again energizes the teachers and allows them to bring back to the classroom a broader educational perspective.The program is open to English, Social Studies and Drama teachers. A variety of courses are offered each year. So far most of our recipients have chosen to attend the International Globe Center in London to study theatre performance instruction.
